Preventing illness is far better than treating it!
Complete physical examinations are important in keeping pets happy and healthy. We recommend regular physical examinations to identify current or potential health problems and to ensure your pet’s well being. Our staff veterinarian will discuss with you your pet’s full medical history as your pet receives a complete physical exam.
Vaccination recommendations are tailored to your individual pet’s lifestyle. Protective vaccine titer testing as a vaccination alternative is also available. Regular heartworm and parasite testing and prevention is recommended to all pets. Semi-annual exams are recommended for senior pets (7 years or older) as well as routine blood screenings to detect early signs of disease. Due to advances in veterinary medicine, many medical problems can be diagnosed and managed provided the disease is detected early. It is important to remember that pets age faster than people and regular veterinary care is critical in ensuring a long healthy life!
